How to Make Kindness Rocks

See a painted rock outside? Pick it up…it’s meant for you!
My family has been painting kindness rocks and leaving them at our local beaches and along hiking trails to bring a smile to the person who finds these cool treasures.
It’s a fun summer activity to do with the kids and teaching kindness through action is always the best way to learn.
STEP 1: Gather some rocks and clean them at home. Let dry.
STEP 2: Get some eco-friendly paint for kids, some non-toxic clear coat spray, and some paint markers from @artistro.artsupplies
STEP 3: Use newspaper or a big piece of cardboard to paint on.
STEP 4: Paint Party! First paint the entire rock a base color and let dry.
STEP 5: Use paint markers to write your message and create your designs. We like to write little positive messages…
- You Rock
- Dream Big
- Abundance
- Be Kind
- Smile
- Live your Best Life
- Hope
- You are Perfect
- You are Loved
- Choose Joy
- Stay Fab
- Unplug
- Empowered
IMPORTANT: Per the great advice by @thekindnessrocksproject DO NOT ADD STICKERS OR GOOGLE EYES TO YOUR ROCKS AS THEY CAN HARM ANIMALS.
STEP 6: Seal with clear spray.
STEP 7: Drop your kindness rocks really anywhere for people to find.
